Youth Summer Outing Recap

A Weekend to Remember: Youth Summer Outing 2026

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.”
— Hebrews 10:24–25 (NIV)

Our annual Youth Summer Outing, held July 17–19, was a weekend filled with fun, friendship, and opportunities to grow closer as a church family. We spent Friday and Saturday at Great Wolf Lodge, beginning the weekend with a spaghetti dinner and a movie at the theater. It was a wonderful way to unwind, catch up with one another, and kick off a memorable few days together.

Saturday was full of activities that everyone could enjoy. After meeting for breakfast at McDonald’s, we headed back to Great Wolf Lodge to spend the day swimming before wrapping up the evening with bowling and Topgolf. Every stop along the way was filled with laughter, conversation, and moments that reminded us how important it is to invest in one another. Whether we were cheering each other on or simply sharing a meal, it was a chance to build stronger relationships and enjoy God’s blessings together.

The weekend came to a close on Sunday as the entire church gathered at the Youth Center for a special worship service led by our youth. Following the service, we enjoyed a barbecue and spent the afternoon visiting, sharing a meal, and celebrating all that God had done throughout the weekend.

A heartfelt thanks to our dedicated youth leaders and young adults for their time, planning, and servant-hearted leadership throughout the weekend. Your commitment to investing in the next generation made this outing possible. We are also deeply grateful to the parents and every church member who supported this event through your prayers, encouragement, generosity, and willingness to serve. Your love and support continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of our youth. Above all, we give thanks to God, because none of this would have been possible without Him. We are grateful for His protection, His provision, and the many blessings He poured out over our weekend together. To God be all the glory!

As we look back, we’re thankful for the time spent together and for everyone who made the outing possible. More than the places we visited or the activities we enjoyed, this weekend reminded us of the importance of Christian fellowship and growing together in faith. We pray that the memories made and the connections strengthened will continue to encourage our youth and church family in the days ahead. We are already looking forward to what God has in store for us next.
